Landscapes

TThis is where my love for photography began. Growing up in Colorado, I was raised with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and that connection to nature continues to inspire my work today. My passion for landscape photography has been shaped by the work of legendary photographers such as Ansel Adams and John Fielder, whose ability to capture the grandeur and subtlety of the natural world continues to influence my own artistic approach.

What draws me to landscapes is their ever-changing nature. I can return to the same location year after year and still discover something new—whether it's the way the light falls, a shift in weather, or the mood of the season. While landscapes may appear to be among the simplest subjects to photograph, they often require the most patience and precision. Timing, lighting, weather conditions, and composition all play a role, and just when everything aligns perfectly, there’s always the chance of an unexpected interruption—like someone walking through the frame at just the wrong moment. Thankfully, nature itself is a patient subject.

I’ve been fortunate to explore and photograph a wide variety of environments—from the serene beaches of Hawaii and the geothermal wonders of Yellowstone to the iconic purple mountain majesty of Colorado, along with countless other remarkable places in between. Each location offers its own story, and capturing those unique moments is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Below is a collection of some of my favorite landscape images from Colorado and beyond. These photographs represent not only the places I’ve been, but also the sense of awe and connection I feel each time I step behind the lens.
